Not an Apology

I haven’t been blogging lately. Obviously.

I think I got to the point in this blog where I wasn’t going out and doing things just to experience them, but because I wanted something to post about. And heaven forbid if we forgot the camera on an excursion- it might as well have not happened!

In a less melodramatic way, I really wasn’t taking the time to enjoy everything around me and was worried that I was inching towards doing things to make myself feel like we were more fabulous than we were. And I didn’t want to try to change myself and my family for the sake of a webpage that is only frequented by just a handful of people. {Not that you aren’t amazing people! :)}

So, us? We’ve been enjoying our new house during the moments that we aren’t at work. We’ve been playing lots of videogames, mostly together. There’s been a bit of crafting, because that’s what I like to do on lazy Sunday afternoons. And there’s been lots of toddler snuggling, and family visiting, and very small dinner parties.

Maybe Ill get back into posting every now and then, and I’ll be able to find a happy medium between who we are and what I show off to the internets. Because there are some really cool things that I hope will be emerging in the next couple months that I would love to share. But in the meantime, we are busy being us for the sake of being us.

Our blog is eerily empty. Completely ghost town empty. Because either Blogger deleted all of our posts, or in my click-happy method of web design I killed hundreds of little thoughts. And since nobody else seems to be having issues, I’m going to go with the second.
